GAINESVILLE, Fla. - McKenzie Hollen remembers when she got the nickname, even if she's not the biggest fan of fast food.

McKenzie, or "Big Mac", joined the Oak Hall varsity volleyball team as a small 7th grader.

Since then, the 5-foot-1 senior has done everything and anything for the Eagles.

She's passed the 1,000 dig milestone on Monday in a road victory against Fort White, and already eclipsed the 1,000 assist mark when she was the primary setter for Coach Cari Martin.

Now, the defensive specialist is focused on her final season at Oak Hall, where she is currently at the top of her class academically with an unweighted 4.0 GPA.
