John Townsend and Brian Leclerc led the Gators with three hits each as Florida knocked 17 total hits. But it was Chris Petrie, coming in as a designated hitter in the bottom of the ninth inning, who hit the game-winner. 

Patrick Keating gets the win for the Gators, pitching the final 2 and 1/3 innings and striking out two batters. The starter Billy Bullock pitched five innings and gave up one run.

The win gives the Gators their first series win since a three game sweep of Georgia on April 1.
