GATOR BASEBALL LOSES GAME, GAINES 6TH SEED

With an SEC championship birth already secured, the Gators were looking to make a statement in their regular season finale. Instead, they end on a rubber-game loss to Tennessee, the Gators first home series loss since dropping two of three against South Carolina on April 6-8.
Speaking of the Gamecocks, Florida will play South Carolina on Wednesday at 1 o'clock in the first round of the SEC Championships. The Gators are the sixth seeded team in the tournament, while the Gamecocks are the third seed.
