On Friday, Billy Donovan appeared torn about his decision to take the head coaching job with the Orlando Magic. Now we know why.

The Gator basketball coach for the past 11 years, Billy Donovan may be trying to return to Gainesville. Sources say Donovan is trying to get out of his contract with the Orlando Magic, possibly in order to return as the head coach of the Gators. Donovan had agreed to a five year, $27.5 million contract, but has not signed the contract.

Florida's athletic association had prepared a seven year contrac that would have paid Donovan $3.5 million annually before he signed with the Magic.
