FLORIDA MEN EARN NINE POINTS AND TRACK CHAMPIONSHIPS

Several Gators earned All-America honors including freshman Calvin Smith, who becomes just the third Gator to earn honors during the indoor and outdoor seasons. Smith teamed with fellow freshman Carlos Phillips, junior All-American Bernard Middleton and junior Eric Alberter to finish eighth in the 4X400 relay.
On the women's side, freshman Mariam Kevkhishvili earned All-America status by making the final in the shot put. Her throw of 16.81m was good for sixth.
