The Gator football and basketball teams showed they were the best in the country. But can they trancend their own sports? Gator fans will find out on July 15th as Florida has been nominated for four ESPY Awards.

The nominations are as follows:

Best Team: GATOR FOOTBALL TEAM, Indianapolis Colts,  San Antonio Spurs, GATOR BASKETBALL TEAM, St. Louis Cardinals, Tennessee Women's Basketball

Best Coach/Manager: BILLY DONOVAN, Tony Dungy (Colts), Greg Popovich (Spurs), Jim Leyland (Detroit Tigers), and Pat Summitt (Tennessee Women's Basketball).

Best Upset: FLORIDA 41 OHIO STATE 14, Golden State wins playoff series against Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Tigers win playoff series against New York Yankees, Rutgers Women's Basketball Defeats Duke in Women's Sweet 16.
