POWELL JOINS MARSHALL BASKETBALL
Published July 4th, 2007
Brandon Powell may be in an unfamiliar place, but he'll recognize a familiar face. Powell will transfer to Marshall, where the current head coach is former Gator assistant Donnie Jones. Powell will sit out for this season before regaining eligibility during the 2008-2009 season.
Powell left the Gators after three off-the-court issues during his freshman year at Florida, where he averaged 1.6 points per game.
