Gators Dominate Vanderbilt
Sophomore Quarterback Tim Tebow ran for two touchdowns and passed for three scores to help lead the Gators to a 49-22 victory over Vanderbilt on a happy homecoming at Florida Field.
Tebow connected on 22 of 27 passes for 281 yards. His 2nd rushing touchdown tied the school record for the most touchdowns on the ground in a single season with 14 scores.
The Gator Offense registered 498 total yards.
Percy Harvin became the first Florida Football Player to pile up both 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in a single game.
Harvin caught 9 passes for 110 yards and ran 11 times for 113 yards, including two touchdowns.
Bubba Caldwell also caught two touchdowns passes and recorded 103 yards receiving on 9 catches.
The Gator Defense created two turnovers and held Vanderbilt to 255 yards of offense (162 through the air and 93 on the ground).
