SFCC Lady Saints Upset #3 Nations Team
Published November 29th, 2007
It'll go down as one of the best wins in program history. The Lady Saints came out with something to prove against Chipola College (10-1), the number three team in the nation and three time defending state champions. Led by freshman shooting guard Quanisha Dixon, who had 30 points and four steals, the Saints pulled off the upset 85-79 in front of a large and raucous home crowd.
Dixon scored the first eight points for the Saints. Next up for the Saints is a home game against Tallahassee Community College,
who handed the Saints their only loss of the season earlier in the year. The game is Saturday, December 1 at 7pm in the SFCC Gymnasium.
