Capital One Bowl
Published December 3rd, 2007
The 9-3 Florida Gators will head to Orlando to play in the Capital One Bowl on New Year's Day at 1pm against the 8-4 Michigan Wolverines.
Florida is making its 17th consecutive bowl appearance, a mark which is tops in the SEC and third-best in the nation.
The match-up is just the 2nd time Florida has faced Michigan. The last meeting was a Wolverines' 38-30 win over Florida in the Outback Bowl Jan. 1, 2003.
However, Michigan has dropped its last four bowl games and has had an up and down season. The Capital One Bowl will be the final game for Michigan with Lloyd Carr as its head coach.
