Gator Basketball Split
The Florida Men's Basketball team dropped its 2nd game of the season (11-2) falling 62-49 on the road to Ohio State.
Marreese Speights was one of just two Gators to score in double figures putting in 12 points, while Jai Lucas went for 11 points. The Gators connected on just 4 of 23 3-pointers and shot 33-percent from the floor.
Meanwhile, back at the O'Dome Amanda Butler's team pulled off an 83-77 win over St. Louis to improve the Gators' record to 7-4 overall. UF earned its 7th straight win at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Senior Depree Bowden scored a team-high 23 points and Marshae Dotson added 15 points. Dotson recorded 9 rebounds as she was one shy of a double-double.
Sha Brooks now has 1,000 career points in her Gator career as she registered 12 points (all coming in the 2nd half).
