Florida Comes Up Just Short

Despite a late 16-7 Gator run (after Florida trailed 77-66) Florida came up two points short to the Rebels of Ole Miss 89-87 in Oxford, Mississippi falling in SEC play for the first time in conference play this season.
Current SEC Freshman of the week (for the 2nd time this season) Nick Calathes and Dan Werner led the way on offense with each player scoring 16 points. Freshman Chandler Parsons came off the bench to chip in with 15 points.
Florida 15-3 overall, 2-1 SEC, returns to action back home Saturday at the O'Dome. Game-time is set for 9pm with the contest being broadcast live on ESPN.
ESPN College Gameday will be on the UF Campus as well for the Gator-Wildcats match up.Â
