Gator Women's Hoops Win 60-57

Sophomore Sharielle Smith scored 17 of her 18 points in the first half to lead Florida to a 33-20 win in Columbia, South Carolina. The Gators led 33-20 at the break and held on for a 60-57 victory.
The Gators hit a 50-percent of their shots in the opening stanza connecting on 13 of their 26 attempts. Smith also grabbed 6 rebounds.
Marshae Dotson was 3 rebounds shy of another double-double scoring 16 points and pulling down 7 boards. Depree Bowden chipped in with 11 points and recorded 6 rebounds.
14-6 overall, 3-2 in the SEC Florida returns to the O'Dome for a 7pm home match up with Vanderbilt on Thursday.
