Gator Baseball Finally Cages Ospreys

Sophomore Jonathan Pigott hit a tie-breaking two-out RBI single in the seventh inning to lift #24 Florida (22-10) to a 5-3 victory over North Florida at Perry Field. The Gators overcame a 3-0 deficit with three runs in the third and used Pigott's single into left field to claim their first win in four meetings against the Ospreys.
The teams will play the rubber game of their regular-season series Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at Perry Field.
