Mitchell Leaves Gator Basketball

Sophomore forward Jonathan Mitchell, from Mount Vernon, N.Y., will transfer from the University of Florida men's basketball team. Mitchell averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds this season in 35 games with one start. He registered a career-high 15 points and was 3-of-3 from three-point range in a win over Temple on December 30th. Mitchell grabbed a career-high seven rebounds against Vermont on November 30th. For his career, he played in 65 games with one start.
