GATOR BASEBALL SEASON ENDS

The Florida State Seminoles defeated the Florida Gators 17-11, ending the Gator season.
After building a 5-1 lead in the early stages, the Gators watched their lead disappear in the 5th inning, as Florida State scored seven runs in the top of the 5th to take a 9-5 lead. Clayton Pisani answed for the Gators with a three-run home run (5) in the bottom of the 5th, but Florida State did not relent.
The Seminoles score five more runs in the bottom of the 7th inning, putting the game out of reach. Of the six Gator pitchers, three lasted less than one inning.
Florida finishes with a record of 34-24 in Kevin O'Sullivan's first season as head coach.
