Gator Rivals Square Off in College World Series
Published June 16th, 2008
Today in Omaha, the Seminoles started the game up one nothing. But their lead was short-lived.
The Canes re-took the lead in the 3rd inning, and won the game 7-5.
They entered the College World Series as two of the favorites to win, but the Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles--after knocking the Gators out of the playoffs-- found themselves playing an elimination game against one another.
The Florida State Seminoles are out of the post-season.
