By signing with an agent, Speights will forego his final two years of eligibility with the University of Florida. After spending much of his freshman year playing behind Joakim Noah, Al Horford and Chris Richard, Speights blossomed in his sophomore season, averaging 14 points and 8 rebounds per game.

The NBA draft takes place on June 26.
