The game was much closer for much longer than it should have been, but Florida beat Longwood 95-69 in the Gator mens team's final non-conference game of the season. Florida led by 10 at the end of the first period, but outscored the Lancers 51-35 in the second half. The Gators now have a record of 13-2 heading into SEC play.
Nick Calathes led the way for Florida with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, nearly a triple-double.
