Gator Women's Hoops Falls to LSU
Published February 16th, 2009
Florida came into Sunday's game against LSU looking to stay in contention for a first-ever SEC title, but they left with that dream all but gone. The Gators fell 66-47, losing back-to-back games for the first time all season. The Gators (22-4, 8-3) now fall two games behind Auburn in the SEC title race, and Florida loses a head-to-head tiebreaker if the two teams finish with the same record.
Florida returns to the O'Connell Center on Thursday against Arkansas.
