Gator Baseball Team Drops Series to Vandy
Published April 5th, 2009
Florida dropped a 16-9 decision to Vanderbilt on Sunday afternoon, and in the process the Gators dropped their first series since a sweep by Arkansas that ended March 14.
The game was tied at nine in the eighth when the Commodores scored seven runs in the bottom of the frame to end any threat of the Gators first conference road series win. Florida (19-11, 7-5) will go back on the road this weekend as they travel to Auburn for a series against the Tigers.
