The Florida Gator baseball team's strength of schedule paid dividends as the Gators earned a top-eight national seed in the NCAA baseball tournament, beginning Friday at 16 locations around the country. The Gators seeded eighth, and they are ensured the right to host a super regional round as well if they advance past the first weekend.
The Gators begin the road to Omaha against Bethune-Cookman on Friday at 6:30 at McKethan Stadium. Jacksonville University and the University of Miami are the other two teams playing in Gainesville this weekend.
