Our scholar/athlete class of 2009 was another stellar one.
Our top female scholar athlete put Eastside High volleyball on the map, leading the Rams to their best season in school history, making it to the regional finals in class 5A.
This fall, Chloe Mann will attend the University of Florida on a volleyball scholarship.
Our male scholar/athlete of the year led the Gainesville High Purple Hurricanes to the class 5A state championship, finishing with a record of 29-3. Greg Gantt also won class 5A state player of the year honors.
