Gator Men's Basketball Wins Season Opener Against Stetson

The Florida Gators men's basketball team has missed the last two NCAA tournaments, but they began a quest for a return to the "big dance" with a 74-46 win over Stetson Sunday afternoon.
Chandler Parsons led all Gator scorers with 14 points, and Alex Tyus added 12 points and 13 rebounds, as four players scored in double digits for the Gators.
Florida (1-0) now turns its attention to Georgia Southern on Wednesday.
