UF Volleyball Team Begins Championship Quest at Home
Published November 30th, 2009
The Florida Gator volleyball team is at once in strange territory, and yet the Gators are right at home.
For the first time in the Mary Wise era, the Gators will enter the post season without winning the SEC title in the same season. Yet the Gators will still host the first two rounds of NCAA tournament action, the team learned Sunday. Florida will host the College of Charleston in the first round of the tournament Thursday at 7 p.m., with the winner facing the winner of Miami and Florida International.
