Home Cooking Serves Gator Women's Basketball Team Well vs. Southern

The Florida Gator women's basketball team played in front of the Stephen C. O'Connell Center for the first time in 20 days, and the home crowd watched the Gators beat Southern University 62-35. With the win the Gators (5-5) earned their first back-to-back wins this season.
Azania Stewart led all scorers with a career-high 18 points, while Sharielle Smith added 8 points.
The Gators play High Point in the championship of the Gator Holiday Classic Monday at 7 p.m.
