Gator RB Moody Out For Spring Game
Published April 4th, 2010
Emmanuel Moody will not play in the Florida football team's orange and blue spring game, following an injury to his right quadriceps on Saturday afternoon. The injury is just the latest for Moody, who came into the spring recovering from ankle surgery.
Head Coach Urban Meyer said that Chris Rainey has not been 100 percent this spring, and with Jeff Demps working with the track and field team full-time this spring, the majority of the carries may fall to sophomore Mike Gillislie. Any number of veterans might sit out during the spring game-players whom Meyer feels have already proven themselves in play or in practice.
