Florida Gator Strength Coach Comes to Aid Of WR Rainey
Published September 15th, 2010
Following the arrest of Florida wide receiver Chris Rainey Tuesday morning, offensive coordinator Steve Addazio said Rainey is "not a part of our team right now." Yet at least one member of the Gator family will see Rainey through his suspension from the team. Gator Strength and Conditioning Coach Mickey Marotti appeared at the Alachua County Courthouse Tuesday morning as Rainey made his first appearance following a night in Alachua County Jail. Marotti vowed he would help Rainey through whatever mandates the court deemed necessary.
