Mizell Friday
IF the Gators are to "keep winning"---offense MUST improve... Florida is DEEP in talent---HEAVIEST among them, in "weight" and "experience," is the offensive line...BUT, from tackle to tackle, they are "UNDER-achieving"--- it's a lot more than Mike Pouncey's "errant center
snaps"... Steve Addazio is offensive coordinator---he also coaches
"the line"... I was eager to find out "what's wrong?"---I sought
"savvy help"---consulting accomplished football coaches with "deep experience" AND "familiarity with the Gators"... Their opinion is "universal"---Florida's offensive line is "playing SOFT"---
NOT "firing out"---well shy of "dominant"... John Brantley says "our offensive line does a good job"---I think that's "quarterback-speak"---what No. 12 "thinks" he should say... Brantley too needs to "become a force"--an ARM that is "feared"... Adazzio's offense HAS to get better "in a hurry"---beating Kentucky a 24th consecutive time "will NOT be automatic"... SIGNIFICANT improvement is DEMANDED---if the Gators are to threaten ALABAMA... AND---isn't it about time that Florida stopped being "a first-half DUD?"... This CAN BE another superior Gator
team... DEFENSE "should evolve"---becoming a BIG PLUS...
Urban Meyer's coaching staff has been "long-atuned" to "the SPREAD OFFENSE"---they must "get comfy"---"adjust"---and "start clicking" with a
DROP-BACK PASSER... I'm Hubert Mizell, and that's what I think.
