It was a showdown in Lake City, FL between two teams regarded as the best in their respective classes. In the end, Columbia High's best Defensive-Line prospect in the country Timmy Jernigan did his damage on the offensive side of the ball, and the Tiger defense did the rest, sacking Buchholz QB Tyler Ledvina for a safety and putting all sorts of pressure on the Bobcats. Buchholz leaves the Jungle with a 22-14 defeat, keeping the Columbia Tigers unblemished on the season.
