Trinity Catholic Sits Atop District 4, Routs Newberry 52-13
Published September 25th, 2010
The last time Trinity Catholic visited Panther Field, Newberry was escorting them out of the playoffs. After Friday, the Celtics may want to play here more often. On a rainy night filled with thunderstorms, Trinity Catholic showed why they're ranked #3 in Division 2B with a 52-13 drubbing over the Panthers. The Celtics did their damage in every phase of the game: offense, defense, and special teams. By halftime, the Celtics held a 45-7 lead and cruised in the second half to clinch their first district win, and fourth victory of the season.
