Conor Dwyer Swimming to Gator Greatness
Published October 13th, 2010
When Conor Dwyer was a junior at the University of Iowa, he mulled his options before transferring. His mother, an alumna of Florida State, pushed for her alma mater. But after training for one summer in Gainesville, Conor knew where he would end up and has loved it ever since. Under Coach Gregg Troy's tutelage, Conor improved his Big 10 records in swimming to encompass the entire US. To go futher than that, he also is ranked in the top 15 in a couple of world events and plans to compete in the world championships in Shanghai, China.
