Florida Gator football head coach Urban Meyer says the jury is still out on the playing status of wide receiver Chris Rainey, but he did say that Rainey "is eligible to play" against the Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday. If Rainey, who has been suspended since he was arrested in September for stalking, does play, he will have plenty of counterparts on the Bulldogs side as well. 11 Bulldogs have been arrested since March, and Meyer said in his press conference that coaches walk a fine line in giving successful players a second chance-or choosing not to.
