The Florida soccer team started out slow, but the No. 13-ranked Gators scored three goals in five minutes to beat the Volunteers 4-2. Freshman Taylor Travis set up junior Jazmyne Avant to the right side, where she crossed a ball to the middle of the field for Tahnai Annis. Annis got a foot on it and broke open the scoring in the 27th minute. Two minutes later, sophomore Erika Tymrak beat her defender 1v1 and found Lindsay Thompson to poke it in.
