in 45 Penn State seasons…A record that will NEVER be broken…

… Joe turns 84 in December… Penn State is now 3-and-3…less imposing then

usual…THE LATEST was a 33-13 failure AT HOME---against Ron Zook’s

ILLINOIS… Nittany Lions have won against unimposing opposition: Youngstown State--

Temple--Kent State… Penn State sells 107,000 seats at Beaver Stadium---a majority of

them ARE GRUMBLING… Paterno went 11 and 2 last year---the Lions SHOULD win

tomorrow at Minnesota---then comes a shot “at home” against Michigan... but Penn State

prospects for the next few seasons---NOT BRIGHT… Recruiting is hurting---Paterno and

two other Lions coaches are “SO OLD” they don’t travel in search of teen-age

talent… Critics shout--“Joe Must Go”… I LOVE the man…

No coach is “more admired”… I fear Paterno is “setting himself up”

for an UNHAPPY FINISH---similar to the “No. 2 all-time winner”---

Florida State’s Bobby Bowden… Please—Joe---don’t dare fate…

“Work a compromise with Penn State”---coach ONE more season, in

2011---enjoying “a victory tour”---an Adoring America will celebrate “The

Great JoePa”… Paterno has no hobbies---but “what a fabulous family”…a great

wife--SUE--of 47 years…5 children, all Penn State grads…17 grandkids…

Joe, don’t think they WON’T run you off---as FSU did a “quite-stubborn”
