There was a buzz in Mayo because the Hornets are flying to the ball and stinging opponents. In a battle of Hornets, the ones from Lafayette came out on top 24-12 over Cottondale and kept their win streak alive. After opening the season with a loss to Dixie County, Lafayette has now won ten games in a row, and advance to the 2nd round of the playoffs where they play host to the Jefferson County Tigers next week.
