Published November 19th, 2010
The Knights defense came up big again in the 1st round of the playoffs, and just like last year, beat the hosting Dunnellon Tigers 28-0. Vanguard has now shut out seven opponents this season, and will face North Marion in a District 5 rematch from earlier this season. On October 22nd, the Knights played the Colts in a 14-13 loss where Vanguard came back only to miss the extra point in the waning minutes. Now the Knights get their shot at redemption and revenge as they visit the Colts for the second time, with the winner earning a berth in the region finals.
