Amateur Mixed Martial Arts Makes Appearance in Gainesville
Published December 6th, 2010
It's never been done in Gainesville, until now. Fighters from around the local area and even the country put on an amateur mixed martial arts cage fight on Saturday night at the Alachua County Fairgrounds. The presence of MMA has been lacking in North Central Florida, but a few local amateurs got a chance to tape up and enter the cage at their own risk. The event was sanctioned by ISKA.
