Gainesville High battled hard but fell to visiting Fleming Island 67-65 in double overtime. The Purple Hurricanes were led by Matt Jackson, with 33 points and Marcus Richards, with 7 assists. It marks only the second time the Canes boys basketball team have lost in the Purple Palace in over two years.
