Published December 10th, 2010
Showing more than flashes of what makes him one of the most exciting players on Florida's roster, senior forward Alex Tyus scored 20 points and added 5 rebounds, as Florida beat Kent State 65-52. Vernon Macklin added 19 points and 8 boards, and while no other Gator scored in double digits, the Gators were able to pick up their seventh win by a comfortable margin. The Gators are back on the road December 18th, when they face Kansas State in Sunrise.
