It was football---NOW basketball…People screaming, “WHAT is going

on with the Gators?”… Is this “Double Pay-Back” for “a solid-gold stretch” of

two-and-a-half-years---when Florida won TWO national championships

in football---AND two in basketball?... Gator hoops ruled in '06 and '07---

football in ’06 and ’08…Only school EVER to be No. 1 in “football

and men’s basketball” at THE SAME TIME… But now, the Gators are dealing with “The Great Re-gression”… Florida is 7-and-5 in football---just got

“embarrassed” by

FSU... Now---it's basketball with “troubling uncertainties”… We figured, “Gators are

much deeper’ this season---should be STRONG in the SEC---nationally

ranked… But--Billy Donovan’s guys “get punched out” by CENTRAL FLORIDA…

Here’s “the killer problem”—-Gators have “NO great shooters”.. to succeed, they

must play “imposing defense” AND “be good rebounders”… THAT usually triggers

improved "offense"… Now, “the big shocker”---Gators are BEING LET DOWN by

“two seniors”---BIG GUYS… 6-10 Chandler Parsons… 6-8 Alex Tyus… They “should

be” Donovan’s most dependable assets--but, for C.P. and Alex---‘priorities

OUT OF ORDER”---Remember--DEFENSE No. 1---REBOUNDING No. 2… The two BIGS

are not handling the Top Two priorities---so, their SCORING suffers… Against UCF--Parsons

“1-for-9” from the field---an ungodly 0-for-6 from the foul line… Tyus scored ZERO...

A “quick turnaround” IS A MUST… Florida opponents

in December are no longer FAMU---Stetson---Bethune-Cookman… “Cupcake

Kitchen” CLOSED … Even BEFORE the SEC begins, Gators will SELDOM WIN

“just by showing up”… The “ultimate challenge” is--get ready for
