is “quite shallow”---it has been “gigantically generous”

to the Southeastern Conference…

With the “Cam Newton Tigers,” the SEC is en route

to its “fifth straight national championship final”…

Florida wound up No. 1 in ‘06…LSU ’07…Florida again

in ’08…Alabama ’09… and, don’t forget LSU in ’03…

If Auburn “out-quacks” the Ducks---the SEC will have

“five consecutive national champs”---SIX in eight years…

There IS, of course, a “sticky subplot”---

“The Cam Case”… for now, “the Quintessential QB” is “undeterred”…

I expect Newton to win the Heisman Trophy

“in a landslide”… He’s THE BEST---far and away…

As for “The Cam Case”--the the NCAA—so far--says

The Kid “was NOT involved”--nor was Auburn University--when

“Daddy Newton” solicited BIG CASH for

“Super Son’s football services”…

But I CAN’T FIGURE how the Newton deal is “all that different”

from the “Reggie Bush Mess”…

the “family” of Southern California’s heroic

2005 tailback “pulled financial shenanigans”…

Bush was awarded the Heisman--

BUT, thanks to what passes for “NCAA Justice”--FOUR YEARS later, “it

was snatched away”… Reggie’s school—USC---was “severely penalized”…

SO, I would NOT be shocked if (A) the NCAA allowed

Cam Newton to go “UN-punished:---OR (B)

that America’s hottest player---maybe EVER---could

STILL have it ALL STRIPPED AWAY… IF that happens--

I am certain “Auburn people” will forever

call it----“THE CAM SHAFT”…
