The Gators began the final week of practice before Saturday's New Years Day matchup with Penn State. The contest will also be the final game of Urban Meyer's six years at the helm of Florida Gator football. While Meyer has gained national attention, Gator fans want to know about who Meyer leaves behind, such as the status of Florida Quarterback John Brantley. New Gators Head Coach Will Muschamp has talked to Brantley, but a decision has not been made on whether the junior quarterback will return for his senior season at the University of Florida.
