Published December 31st, 2010
All along, Will Muschamp had his eye on a Chief. According to sources, TV20 confirms that current Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Charlie Weis will fill the same role for the Florida Gators. Weis formerly was the head football coach at Notre Dame before making his NFL return to the Chiefs. Prior to that, he led as OC of the New England Patriots in their title runs of the 2000's. Gator freshmen receiver Solomon Patton was asked about if he was planning to transfer amid the uncertainty at the OC position, but Patton said the only uncertainty is when the news will be made public.
