Lauren Embree Battles Adversity, Gets Back on Tennis Hard Courts
Published January 24th, 2011
Lauren Embree had smashing success on the tennis courts as a Gator freshmen. Ranked as one of the top players in the country, it seemed nothing could go wrong... until the injury bug hit, that is. Embree was sidelined since the Summer of 2010, recovering from two surgeries to repair a ruptured tendon in her non-dominant hand. This Spring, she is hoping to regain her form and status as one of the top players in all of women's college tennis.
