Buchholz Football Has New Head Coach
Published February 16th, 2011
Buchholz High School today announced the hiring of Matt Kerstetter as the head coach of the football team. Kerstetter comes to Gainesville from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, Ca., where he guided the team to a 35-15 record over four years. Kerstetter has coached eight Division 1 scholarship athletes and was a wide receivers coach in this year's Under Armour All-Star game. Buchholz administrators chose Kerstetter out of 150 coaching resumes following the retirement of former coach Jay Godwin. Kerstetter will be at Buchholz in early March, and will make hiring decisions on the rest of the staff shortly after.
