Gator Basketball Earns Season Sweep Over Bulldogs
Published February 25th, 2011
The Florida Gators didn't need double overtime this time to beat the Georgia Bulldogs. All they needed was Chandler Parsons. After sitting out the last game with a thigh bruise, the Gators starting forward came in off the bench, played 30 minutes and provided 16 points and seven rebounds as the Gators beat the Bulldogs 71-62 Thursday night in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. "I'm not planning on missing another game," said Parsons following the game. Kenny Boynton led the Gators with 18 points, as Florida moves to 11-2 on the conference season. The Gators next game is Saturday at Kentucky, with tip-off slated for 4 p.m.
