Lafayette's Cartaesha Macklin led the Lady Hornets all season. And with three more wins, she will finally earn a Class 2A state title that evaded her in last years 50-37 semifinal loss to Community. But this season, Macklin is averaging 30 points for the Hornets. Add a weighted 3.3 GPA, and Cartaesha is getting plenty of looks from colleges to play at the next level as well as further her education.
