Johnson Perfect Through Five, Gator Baseball Beats Boston College
Published February 25th, 2011
The old adage, "nobody's perfect" didn't apply to Brian Johnson through five innings Thursday night. The Florida Gators Friday night starter (except when a series begins on Thursday) took a perfect game into the sixth inning, striking out five batters as he earned a win for the Gators over Boston College 4-0. Johnson also went 1-3 from the plate with 1 RBI and scored a run, the only one the Gators would need.
