No. 9 Florida Gator lacrosse team looked like it would have an easy time opening up conference play. Turns out, it nearly turned into fool's gold. After the Gators jumped out to a dominating 7-0 lead, led by five goals in that span from Kitty Cullen, the Ohio State Buckeyes rallied by scoring five straight spanning the 1st and 2nd half. But Cullen finally got the Gator offense out of its funk, scoring her sixth final goal in the 2nd half, restoring Florida's three-goal advantage en route to the 10-8 victory. The game was very physical, with multiple yellow-cards coming out from the officials. But the Gators hung on to record its 10th-straight victory, moving to 10-1 on the season.
